The ’67 Chevrolets

Four school leavers embark on an aspirational and emotional journey into adulthood. It is 1967 and popular music, evolving social attitudes and the emerging political backdrop fuel division and charge public emotion.

Forming a vocal music group, the lead characters hope to elevate themselves from rehearsals in the back room of the Boars Head pub to auditioning for the BBC’s New Talent of ’67 contest.

On their voyage of personal discovery, they experience family trauma and prejudice in a class-based society. Each riding high on lust, laughter and music making, will they achieve their number one goal of stardom?
